I cut strips/rings from the rubber gloves and then linked them into the chain shown above. I just to find a way to secure the links.
These are the leather cricket ball rings and the cardboard roll cut offs weaved together. I like the way it looks like a tangled mess, and I think that it would make a very strong finished product. There isn't really a pattern to the weaving and interlocking yet, I was just trying out the idea.
Woven lino, both front and back views. For the idea I have in mind, i will need much longer strips so I either need to find a way to cleanly join strips or another suplier...
